*Ingredients:
+Cake:
°2 cups all-purpose flour
°1 teaspoon baking soda
°2 cups granulated sugar
°2 large eggs
°1 teaspoon vanilla extract
°20 oz crush pineapple
Trim:
°1/2 c butter
°1/2 tsp vanilla extract
°2/3 c evaporated milk
°1 c granulated sugar
°1 c pecans
°1 cup sweetened coconut flakes
*Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees & greased 9×13″ baking dish with butter
In bowl, combine your flour, sugar, baking soda, eggs, vanilla & crush pineapple
Pour into your pan and bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown
Make several holes in the cake with the handle of a wooden spoon
In saucepan, heat your butter, sugar, evaporated milk & vanilla until boil
Adding your pecans and coconut also continue cooking for about 5 minutes on heat, stir constantly
Spoon your topping evenly over your cake, slice and enjoy.
