Cherry Dr. Pepper Cake πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹


*Ingredients:

°Chocolate Cake Mix: 1 packet (I use dry mix only)
°Dr. Pepper Cherry Soda: 1 1/2 cups
°Stemless cherries: 1 jar (I always remove 24 cherries from jar & set them apart)
°Sweet Unsalted Cream Butter: 1 cup (soft)
°Powdered sugar: 3 cups + 2 cups if needed
°Chocolate chips: 1 pack, if wanted (found at Hobby Lobby)

*How to make Dr. Pepper cherry cake

+To prepare the cake:
1. I always set the oven temperature to 350°F before I start.
2. Utilize Pam baking spray, spraying 9×13 baking dish; Sit apart.
3. Then mix the cake and soda mixture in the electric mixer until homogeneous.
4. Be sure to cut the cherries in half. And please mix it into the mixture.
5. The cake mixture should be poured into the baking dish at this point.
6. Once done, bake in the oven or until a toothpick comes out clean, it takes about half an hour.
7. The last step is to allow the cake to cool completely before decorating.
+For cherry frosting:
1. Beat butter, powdered sugar and cherry juice together with a stand mixer until smooth and frothy.
2. You may want to add another cup of powdered sugar if the icing is too thin.
3. Be sure to pour the decorations on the cake. Using an angled spatula, smooth evenly.
4. Alright now, sprinkle the chocolate chips over the icing. Always remember to adding a some cherries.
5. Finally, refrigerate for 60 minutes for the icing to solidify before slicing!
