CINNAMON SUGAR DONUT HOLES




You can make donut holes yourself from pizza dough! Who would have believed it? .

* Ingredients :

° 1 L (4 cups) vegetable or canola oil
° 1 box of PillsburyTM Refrigerated Pizza Crust
° 60 ml (1/4 cup) sugar
° 5 ml (1 teaspoon) ground cinnamon

* Steps :

In a 2.8 L (3 quart) heavy saucepan, heat the oil to 180 ° C (350 ° F).

Meanwhile, remove dough from box; do not unroll it. Cut the dough into 12 1-inch (2.5-cm) slices. Cut each slice in half crosswise to form 24 pieces. Roll each piece into a ball; put aside.

In a small brown paper bag (lunch bag), combine the sugar and cinnamon.

Gently drop the dough balls into the hot oil and cook for about 30 seconds or until lightly browned. Using a frying spider or a metal slotted spoon, transfer the donuts to the paper bag with the sugar and cinnamon mixture. Fold top of bag over and stir until donuts are coated. Serve hot.
