Cheesesteak Egg Rolls



These Mediterranean Cheese Egg Rolls are a great snack or snack idea!

* Ingredients :

° 10 mozzarella sticks
° 10 packages of egg rolls
° 1/4 cup roasted red peppers in olive oil, drained and finely chopped
° 1/4 cup finely chopped kalamata olives
° 1 tbsp. chopped fresh basil
° Frying oil

* Instructions :

Heat the oil in a large skillet to about 375 ° F over medium-high heat.
In a medium bowl, combine roasted red peppers, olives and fresh basil. Leave besides.
Place a wrapper of egg rolls with one corner facing you. Place a stick of firm-rich mozzarella in each egg roll package. Add about 2 teaspoons of the red pepper-olive mixture to each egg roll. Fold the corner up over the mixture. Fold the left and right corners to the center and keep rolling. Brush some water in the last corner to help seal the egg roll.
Place the egg rolls in the hot oil and fry, turning occasionally, until golden brown. Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels or wire mesh.
Place on a serving platter and serve immediately.
