*Ingredients
° 1 pie crust, premade or freshly made
° 1 ¼ cup sugar
° 3 tablespoons cornstarch
° 1 ¼ cup of water
° 3 tablespoons of strawberry jelly
° 2 cups sliced fresh strawberries
*Instructions
FIRST STEP:
Preheat oven to the temperature directed on pie crust
Baking pie as directed
SECOND STEP:
Removing from oven also let cool for at least 31 min.
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar, cornstarch and water
THIRD STEP:
Whisk and bring to a boil, reduce heat to simmer
Continue to simmer to sauce thickens, this may take for 5 min
FOURTH STEP:
Whisking strawberry jelly totally and let cool on side
While pie crust is cold, adding sliced strawberries to crust.
FIFTH STEP:
Pour the glaze over the strawberries
Refrigerate 2 to 3 h to pie is set
STEP SIX:
Topping with dollops of whip topping & a slice strawberry on every dollop
