*Ingredients:
°1 box of Duncan Heinz Cake Mix Butter Mix
°1 flour cupcake
°1 cup sugar
°1 c sour cream,
°1 stick butter, room temperature
°5 eggs, room temperature
°1/4 cup oil
°1/4 cup water
°1 teaspoon vanilla
°1 teaspoon flavored butter
°1 teaspoon almond extract
*Directions :
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Heat it to 350 degrees.
Step 2: With Baker's Joy, generously grease package tube bowl.
Step 3: Mix cake ingredients (cake batter, cake flour, sugar, sour cream, butter, eggs, oil, water, vanilla extract, butter flavor, and almond extract) until smooth, making sure not to over-mix.
Step 4: Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and place in the preheated oven. Bake for 55 to 65 minutes until a fork or toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean. Remove from the oven and let the cake cool for at least 10 to 15 minutes before inverting onto a serving plate.
Step 5: Meanwhile, whisk together powdered sugar and lemon juice to your desired texture. Since it's just a glaze, the consistency should be like thick nectar.
Step 6: Pour the glaze over the cake a little at a time and spread using the back of a spoon. This way the glaze will absorb into the cake that is still warm.
Step 7: Cut slices and serve warm or at room temperature. Enjoy!
