Cubed Steak with Onion Gravy



*You will need:

°1 1/2 pounds diced steak
°1/3 cup flour
°1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
°1/2 tsp black pepper
°1/2 c vegetable oil
°1 onion, sliced
°1 (14 oz) can beef broth
 °1 pack dried onion soup mix

*Directions : 

 Mixing flour, garlic salt, & black pepper in pie plate . Dust both sides of sliced ​​steaks in flour mix.
Heat the oil in a large skillet (preferably cast iron) over medium to high heat. Add steak (cook in two batches if necessary). Cook 5 minutes per side. Removing steaks from skillet & set apart.
If you want to thicken the broth a bit, add a few teaspoons of the remaining flour from scraping the steak to the broth in the skillet.
Add the onion soup, broth, and onion mixture to the broth in the skillet. Using wooden spoon to scrape up any brown bits sticking to bottom of pan.
Leave on low heat and cook until the onions are soft.
Return the steak to the skillet to heat up. Served with mashed potatoes.
